Correcting an earlier poor review. Operator error. Yes, the app and setup are confusing at first but you can’t make it please everyone since everyone wants something different from it. The pics are clear. You can adjust the sensitivity. Playback works once you get used to it. We are really enjoying the feeder and the app. Will probably get one for my elderly MIL to entertain her.

I love this app and it’s ability to watch the replay with a continuous video feed is my favorite feature. Other apps require you to scroll and click on each video clip individually. The actual camera I’ve had issues with and their customer service is non responsive but that’s not the apps faults.

For those unable to pair app/phone with camera, if you have not already done so, place both phone and camera right next to your wifi router when going through the pairing process. A strong wifi connection on your phone is not sufficient to pair, the physical router needs to be in close enough proximity.

So far so good. However, Alexa does not show Bird Lover under “Skills” as the app says so you can link the two. I just received this device as a gift…I will update if I run into any issues.

Setup is a little bit challenging, but once it’s finished, the app works fine. I had to manually pair my feeder’s camera to the app. I’m enjoying getting notifications of our little visitors throughout the day.

This app is laid out very nicely but some aspects seem more tailored to the home itself as opposed to setups for bird cameras. I like that it connects to Google Assistant but I’m not really sure how functional it will be. I can’t wait to try it out though.

The camera takes decent photos. The UI seems to have changed in the last 2 days. Bird Detection “news” photos are out of chronological order. Push alerts are generated with no corresponding photos.

The smart bird feeder is great! The problem is this app needs an update to make it more current. If you compare it to other smart bird apps it is greatly lacking. I wish this company was more open to feedback and would update the app. You are kind of held hostage by this company if the smart bird feeder you purchase uses this app with their product. Much better now identifies birds
